About Troy

Troy Sowers was born and raised in Georgia, “The Peach State”. In 1978 he graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Computer Science. After graduation Troy propelled his skills and experience to a very successful career in technology sales. During his career he worked for some of the largest technology firms of the time, including: Amdahl, Cabletron, Unisys, EDS/HP and Oracle.

Troy made Florida his home more than 35 years ago; he and his wife Judy have been residents of Cape Coral since2006.

Troy has always had a passion for real estate. He initially obtained his real estate license to support his personal real estate investment portfolio. Upon retiring from his corporate career, he took his real estate experience to the next level by obtaining his Broker’s license. As a team member of Sellstate Excelsior Realty, Troy’s passion is helping others to realize their real estate dreams. He enjoys sharing his area, waterway, new home construction, and residential sales knowledge. Above all, he values his commitment to excellence and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure he drives the maximum value and highest possible level ofsatisfaction for his clients.

Community involvement is extremely important to Troy and his wife. Both are actively involved in Ronald McDonald House Charities SWFL, Boys and Girls Club of Lee County, Hope Hospice, LARC, and the development of the Cape Coral AnimalShelter. Troy is an outdoor enthusiast! He enjoys boating, scuba diving, skiing, golfing, and long walks along SW Florida’s beautifulbeaches.
