Tyler Haynes

I believe in serving people to the best of my ability and without reservation. After dedicating 15 years of service to our great nation in the United States Marine Corps, serving multiple combat tours overseas, I have learned discipline, attention to detail, and what true selflessness looks like.

Additionally, I have 10 years of experience as an officer with the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Big Rapids Department of Public Safety. My drive leads me to pursue constant improvement and I have enjoyed mentoring Marines and Officers in their professional growth as well. All of which have prepared me to serve you well.

I am a family man, who enjoys singing silly songs with my daughter and being her superhero during our outdoor adventures. I enjoy music and I’m learning to play the guitar (semi-hollow body) for the blues enthusiasts. My wife and I enjoy our travels and our own adventures throughout our nation and abroad. Throughout my years of travel and service, I have often been dubbed a “Jack of all Trades”. The one thing that remains constant is my belief in service and my commitment to others, ensuring things are done to provide YOU with the best outcome possible.
