Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Tyler loves introducing others to his hometown. His insider knowledge and passion for all these areas offer to continue to benefit buyers and sellers at all levels. Prior to entering real estate, Tyler worked as a teacher in Virginia Beach — an experience that allowed him to hone his communications, patience, and organizational talents. He credits time in various customer care roles with instilling the value of hustle. While installing highly complex weapon & defense systems as a military defense contractor, Tyler built defined attention to detail skills while meeting and connecting with veterans and active service members.
Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in Archaeology from Longwood University and has experience in Underwater Archaeology when he lived in Florida excavating 18th-century shipwrecks off the coast. Tyler is still involved in the Virginia Beach City Public School System by coaching middle school wrestling at Corporate Landing Middle School and Landstown High School Men's Volleyball, both schools he attended & participated in the same sports.
When he’s not working, he likes traveling and participating in extreme sports like paragliding, deep-sea/wreck diving with sharks, kayaking, whitewater rafting, and more. Some of his other favorite hobbies are going hiking & camping in the mountains. On weekends, he can also be found hanging out with his friends, visiting local restaurants & breweries, or hanging out with his Siberian Husky named Freyja.
