I met Vanessa through a mutual colleague of ours. I only meet her by voice over the phone in the beginning. We spoke and I can not explain the feeling of serenity and peace that over came me as we spoke. It was like we were old friends! At the time, I was in search for a home for my young, growing family. I had been watching the market for a few years in preparation to become home owners and in hopes to stop renting. Then we were hit with a global pandemic. I still needed help to secure housing in our school district, in a safe Neighborhood, within our budget and target price. This was no small tasks with life around us all changing like crazy! I could not do this alone. Vanessa was willing to jump right into this all with me and find us something to help ease our stress over housing. She was and still is the angle on earth we needed. We was able to help us find a home, she not only found us a house but a home. With room to love in and grow in. She found us a Neighbourhood full of angles and I know in my heart that God sent her to me and to my family. She continues to help us navigate all things surrounding our home purchase. I have to say - when you want to be treated like someone who is spending a million dollars, go to Vanessa. She is constantly making sure that you have what you need and what you are looking for. She is also a great educator in the house purchasing process. Case in point, she essentially forced us from picking homes that would have given her a larger commission because they just weren't right for us. Vanessa is the type of Real Estate Agent who will show you how to determine the difference between a flipped home with cheap reno materials and a quality rehab job. As someone who has seen some shady deals take place, it was nice to have someone show us some things that even we didn't realize were negatives. Never was put under pressure to decide on a home, she worked closely with our mortgage broker and related parties to make sure we got the house at the right price with the right concessions. Would highly recommend her for the first time home buyer, or someone who is coming to Long Island for the first time. She creates an environment and atmosphere that is both wecoming and educational. Happy homeowners, and can confidently say it would have been a lesser experience without her! She fights for you!
