About Victoria

Direct, decisive, and driven. These are all words used to describe people with High-D personalities, including Victoria Kauffman. Originally from NYC, this Keller Williams Ballantyne Area agent loves using her High-D skills to help people find the perfect place to live in Charlotte.

“I’m the type of Realtor who will go above and beyond for my clients,” Victoria tells us. “Moving to Charlotte in 2013 was the best decision my husband, Jamie, and I ever made for our family. It’s a superior quality of life. Even though I consider myself a New Yorker through-and-through, I know this is where my family is supposed to be. I got into real estate sales because I wanted to help other people have the same positive experience.”

Already a top producer on a top-ten team at Keller Williams #1 office in the world, Victoria was quick to make her mark on the industry. She’s sold almost $7 million in her three-year career—with more than $3 million coming from 2019 alone. “It’s my job to be a local expert,” she says. “This is especially important when I’m helping others relocate to Charlotte. I do extensive research on every neighborhood to make sure I’m matching my clients with precisely what they want out of their new homes.”

To accomplish this goal, Victoria asks a lot of questions first. Then she asks some more. “I find out why people are even thinking about moving,” she says. “And then I find out what’s important to them. It could be kids, schools, activities, church, work, or something as simple as lower taxes. All of this information helps me narrow down to a few niche towns that are their best fit—whether that’s a condo in Uptown or a million-dollar property in Weddington.”

Victoria was a stay-at-home mom when her family moved to Charlotte. She says her daughters, Piper {9} and Peyton {4}, are like sugar and spice. “Piper is so mature,” Victoria smiles. “She’s already a great little performing artist. Peyton is more rock & roll. She had a series of illnesses as a toddler that required a lot of attention, but she never lets anything stop her. They are my pride and joy.”

Victoria is also very proud of her husband, Jamie. He’s a financial advisor with Ameriprise. “He’s my rock,” she says. “He’s the one who encouraged me to get my real estate license. He’s the one who helps me stay balanced. I couldn’t do any of this without him.”

While being a mom is Victoria's number one priority, she's thankful her career has allowed her to rediscover who she is outside of motherhood. "Before becoming a REALTOR®, I had a conversation with my husband about needing something to do to be a better 'me'," she says. "And I wanted my daughters to see mommy being a strong, independent businesswoman who works hard but doesn't miss a moment with them."

Several pieces came together to help Victoria's vision come true. "I have an amazing support system," she says. "I'm lucky that my parents are nearby. I also have a close-knit tribe of women who have become like sisters to me. We all came to the Charlotte area for different reasons and ended up in the same neighborhood together. There's nothing we wouldn't do for each other! Most importantly, my husband switched places with me and is a stay-at-home dad. Now I can do real estate 24-hours a day if I want to, knowing the children are always taken care of at home."

Substantial leverage at work is also helpful. "The team I'm on is fantastic. I know if I can't come in they'll cover me, and I'll do the same for them. I'm grateful to PJ Kennedy for hiring me. He saved my career and my life by taking me under his wing. I have so much respect for how he runs our team. I'm also lucky to have Jenna Kelly, the Director of Operations, as a friend and mentor. She's my rock. I tend to be a reactive New Yorker, and Jenna helps me turn it down," Victoria smiles.

Victoria is a person who never sits still and always looks for ways to engage. She loves spending time with her daughters at Lanti Performing Arts, and she supports Hayden's Hope, a nonprofit that focuses on the need for infant and child life-saving organ transplants. On the professional front, she's a member of the Associate Leadership Council and is the Director of Growth for her Keller Williams team, Kennedy Homes of the Carolinas. True to her High-D personality, Victoria has set a goal for her team to 'take over the world', by helping one Charlotte family at a time.
