Walter Wilkins

Walter was born in Atlanta, GA in 1972 and moved to Hilton Head Island a few months later. Growing up on Hilton Head Island, Walter developed an appreciation for the natural beauty of the Lowcountry. Surfing, bicycling, and fishing are activities he began at an early age and still enjoys today.

Starting his education at Sea Pines Montessori, Walter graduated from Hilton Head Preparatory School in 1991. At the University of South Carolina, Walter was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Marketing.

After graduating, Walter joined his cousin Neville Cork in Boone, NC where they built custom (Nevil Cycles) bicycles. After Nevil Cycles, Walter worked with GMR (New Berlin, WI) and other marketing companies where he traveled throughout the United States. After extensive travel in both the United States and Central America, Walter met his wife, Shelley, on Hilton Head Island and decided to make the Lowcountry home again. Upon returning, he and Kirstan Hattler started a web site development company, The Web Consultants. In 2005, Walter joined Charter I Commercial.
