He has actively participated in his community. He served on the board of directors for the local Little League for 16 years and was its president for four years. He has been actively involved in his children's schools. He was president of the Marin County Service Area for Homestead Valley for several years. He served as president of his neighborhood homeowner's association. He was an original member of Pacific Union Real Estate in Marin over 20 years ago until its transition to Compass.
