Wayka Bartolacelli comes from a colorful, cultural background having lived in Caracas, Venezuela, Munich, Germany and Philadelphia for a good portion of her life before settling in the Bay Area in 1979. Wayka finds her ability to communicate in German and Spanish a benefit to her clients who\ have often commented that her calm demeanor, deep understanding of the business, and clear and concise presentation of information have all contributed to her credibility to get the job done.
Real estate came as a challenging new line of business (coming from a secretarial and travel background) but one that Wayka embraced immediately. She proved she had the qualities and perseverance to become a successful agent. From the “Rookie of the Year” award in 1986 to her continued achievements and top awards, Wayka has become a prominent agent in her community and within Marin County. She has been a go-to choice for sound advice and offered her expert knowledge in a bi-monthly newspaper column for years, and over time has contributed to scores of interviews, discussions, newspaper articles. Wayka authored the chapter covering the City of San Rafael in Local Einstein’s book titled “What to Know Before Buying or Selling a Home in Marin”, 2013 edition. Nationwide, she ranks among the top 1% of Real Estate professionals (Trulia Top Agent Award, 2014) and has received the top President’s Roundtable award for 2017 production and is rated in the top 1% of all Marin Realtors. Locally, her name has become trusted by schools, neighbors, local businesses, community members, and proudly, she is respected by her Real Estate colleagues with whom she networks and communicates with on a daily basis.
Wayka and her husband live in San Rafael, their son and his wife live in France, and their daughter, Gina, lives in San Francisco and has been working alongside Wayka as her full-time assistant since 2012. Wayka enjoys getting involved in charitable organizations and fundraising events and has been one of the founding members and current District Partner of the “CAN-DO Fund,” and contributor to Terra Linda High School sports events (both former schools her children attended). She is an active board member of the Terra Linda Rotary.
Wayka believes in long term relationships with her clients, many of which become good friends.
