As first time home buyers, we had a daunting task ahead of us and Lisa and Wayne were fantastic through the process. They took us around to many many houses and were always accommodating to our schedules, as we were living an hour and a half away while we were house shopping. They provided education to us on what to look for when looking at homes and gave us materials on the home buying process. COVID-19 threw a wrench in the middle of our house hunt changing guidelines from lenders, mandating social distancing, and changing the market drastically. We began working with Wayne and Lisa approximately 18 months ago, prior to our move to NC. From the moment we expressed our interest in relocating, they took it upon themselves to arrange several trips to see different neighborhoods. Once we moved here, we had the privilege to see many houses with them. I know some realtors can be "pushy" to make the sale so they get their commission, but not Wayne and Lisa. They are genuinely on the buyer's side. They always represented our interests and desires, even if it meant moving onto the next house. I initially contacted Wayne because he was representing a house that I saw on the market and liked. After meeting and speaking with Wayne about this property, we decided that I, being a first time home owner, would be better suited towards a house that wasn't such a fixer-upper.
