About Wayne

Wayne lived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama until 2014. For 20 years, he was co-owner of a family optical business, learning to please each customer with personal service as he fit and sold eyeglasses in Tuscaloosa and surrounding area and then moving into a career in Information Security. Vacationing in the mountains of Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina led to the purchase of a honeymoon cabin near the Great Smoky Mountains. This was the beginning of owning and renting vacation homes.

As empty nesters, Wayne and his wife, Day, sought opportunities with national and international companies in Atlanta, GA and Tallahassee FL. During this time, they purchased a beach condo in Gulf Shores. This second home is also rental property to snowbirds in winter and vacationers in summer. Learning about the differences in the mountain and beach rental clientele has been extremely interesting and most helpful in determining a future as a realtor and led to him earning the Resort & Second Home Property Specialist designation. His past experiences and his current real estate knowledge are invaluable as he provides current listings that will interest you or work diligently to sell your home or condo.

In his spare time Wayne is an avid photographer capturing the beauty of the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas. He also believes giving back to the communities he serves is important through volunteering with the Miracle League of Baldwin County and Wildlife Capture and Transport as well as his church where he helps with various activities and plays bass guitar in the worship band.
