Wayne was so helpful to my husband and I when we purchased our home If Wayne saw an issue with a house he would let us know based on his contacting skills even if it meant a lower commission for himself. Wayne kept us in our budget and was very flexible. I was 7 months pregnant at the time he was very patient and knowledgeable I would recommend Wayne and his staff on you new home purchase journey.

Wayne was more than a broker -- he was a partner, a teacher, a constant reality check and consistent, reliable doer in buying our first house and in selling our old condo. He handled details that I felt sure would fall on us, particularly hiring a painter and electrician to fix elements we needed to address to sell. Wayne was personable, responsive, fun to talk to. He set day-one expectations for the market and our sale price that ended up being exactly true, despite being far different what I had naively anticipated. He constantly helped us talk through issues, understand our points of leverage and also points of potential overreaction. His recommendations for other partners, especially for getting financing, turned out to be excellent. Hard to list all the terrific interactions we had over several months as we bought and then sold. We recommend him with greatest enthusiasm!

I am not sure it is possible to do justice to Wayne and his team in this review! I called Wayne from Seattle, on a rather unexpectedly compressed timeline, approximately six weeks before we would end up closing on our condo. Even before we had agreed to work together, Wayne gave my wife and I some excellent advice about what neighborhoods we might focus on, how to evaluate properties in the Chicago area, and a general sense of the city's dynamics. We received block-by-block analysis of some regions. From day one, Wayne was professional, generous, and kind. He has a contagious love for Chicago, it's history and it's flaws. As we looked into units across Bronzeville, Hyde Park, and Woodlawn, Wayne's insights were invaluable. And, as a bonus, we learned a ton about these areas! We are now settling into our new condo, and we couldn't be happier. I would work with Wayne again in a heartbeat, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We hired Wayne Beals to look for the perfect home for me and my wife. He really went above and beyond my expectations. He truly is a Rockstar realtor! His experienced input helped me map out what location I needed to look at for my home. Before this, I spotted a few homes myself that I've had picked randomly all over the map. Wayne would show up give me his input on the showings. I just couldn't find the right home myself. By now Wayne, knew what I wanted he then put together a list of homes, and the rest is history. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Wayne Beals and his work with me and my husband throughout our homebuying process.

As we began the search for our first house, I reached out to a friend who also happens to be one of the most renowned realtors in Chicago. When we told her we were interested in exploring the Berwyn/Oak Park/Forest Park area, she immediately connected me with Wayne, highlighting his good work, his passion for sustainability (a shared value), and his "care factor of servicing his clients to the highest degree." As we prepare for our move next week, I can honestly say that she could not have been more spot-on.

From our first conversation several months ago through his check-in on us a week after closing, Wayne has demonstrated genuine investment in us and passion for his work. His communication was speedy, clear, and thorough. He never made me feel like a burden when I asked a million questions or felt overwhelmed in the midst of this intense housing market. Wayne expertly accompanied us through one multiple-offer situation that we lost, one deal that we walked away from due to significant challenges with the seller, and finally, the successful deal and smooth process that led to the perfect home for us.

Wayne's background and experience prepared him well to surpass expectations throughout our process. His extensive knowledge of construction, architecture, interior design, energy, neighborhoods, and more gave us important insights on various properties well in advance of the home inspection phase. He helped us navigate communication with our lawyers, recommended a painter, and even arranged for someone to clean our home before move-in out of the goodness of his heart. Plus, he's fun to be around, which is a major plus on this kind of adventure. :)

Wayne is a fantastic agent. He has in-depth knowledge of multiple neighborhoods in the city and suburbs. He's helped us find our place in Lincoln Park 11 yrs ago and then helped us sell the same place recently.

Wayne's knowledge and expertise extends beyond buying and selling. When we were ready to move to the suburbs, he helped us find the right house in a suburb. Wayne also referred the architect and contractor that made the gut rehab experience extremely smooth. We couldn't be happier with the results.

Late in 2019 (only about 5 or 6 months before the pandemic) we contracted Wayne Beals and his team to help us sell our house. Wayne and his team were the reason that we not only sold our house in 5 days but also had 4 contracts on it and we got a great price for our house too! And remember this is before the pandemic.

Wayne helped us sell our house in 2019 and we couldn't be happier. We had the advantage of a long lead time and contacted him well in advance. He gave solid advice on when to list and walked us through what to expect so we felt well prepared. His wive, Marni, was an extra bonus as she used her artistic eye to prep the house with minimal upheaval or expense. We needed only one open house and got asking price. Wayne Beals recently sold our home of 14 years in Hyde Park and helped us purchase a new construction home in Woodlawn. He is very knowledgeable about real estate transactions for both existing and new-construction homes. He understands that there is often anxiety in the process and is receptive to feedback and willing to work with his clients to ease the transactions. His relationship with other Chicago real estate agents is also very helpful during negotiations.

Since Wayne was both selling our old home and helping us with negotiations for a new-home construction, we joked that he was part of our life, and it would feel strange once the process was over. He has a very outgoing and friendly personality, but don't let his jovial persona fool you-he gets down to business when necessary.
