Wayne Murray

President of WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Wayne Murray Properties in Houston, TX and offices in surrounding Katy, Sugar Land and The Woodlands. Wayne and wife and co-owner REALTOR® Jackie Murray launched the Houston realty company in 1987. They brought the Weichert® brand to Houston as its first affiliate in the state of Texas.
The Philadelphia born and raised Realtor earned a bachelor’s degree from Temple University. In 1975 he relocated to Houston and began his top salesman career with another company in 1980, gaining recognition at the same time as a real estate instructor at Champions School of Real Estate for 15 years, the University of Houston, Houston Community College and San Jacinto Community College. Wayne is a member of the Houston Association of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS®, and Texas Real Estate Teachers Program. He has served HAR in several capacities, including in government affairs, political affairs, public relations and Realtor education in Texas.
