Wayne and Alice Sheldon are a dynamic real estate team with nearly 40 years of combined experience in sales and marketing. Wayne is a Licensed Broker Associate and also holds ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) and SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure) designations. Alice is a Licensed Sales Associate with GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) designations. As full time Agents, Alice and Wayne are consistent multimillion dollar producers and use the latest technology to help Buyers and Sellers achieve their Real Estate goals.
While living in New Hampshire for over 40 years, Wayne graduated from college and moved into the accounting field holding the positions of accountant and financial officer for large Insurance Companies. For more than 10 years, Alice owned and operated a fantastic Antique Market with over 150 dealers. Her transition to Real Estate was easy considering she was already used to juggling the demands of 150 different individuals and coordinating marketing and organizational efforts.
After moving to Virginia Beach in 1990, Wayne owned and operated Coastal Blinds, a successful business, which much like Real Estate, was built through referrals. After passing that business down to their son, Wayne and Alice joined forces in the Real Estate business. Loving what they did and wanting to provide the best possible service, they opened their own firm, Seaside Realty, in Norfolk, Virginia.
Looking to get away from the long winters, they chose Florida for their home away from home. Before long, they'd fallen in love with the climate, people and carefree lifestyle. It didn't take much convincing to make this their permanent residence, and they now live in South Gulf Cove with two rescue kitties - Boo and Scooter. Hobbies include boating, the beach, antiquing, reading, sports and spending time with family and friends. Wayne is an avid Patriots fan!!
Alice and Wayne are the proud parents of a son, Brent, who attended Old Dominion University. Brent still owns and operates Coastal Blinds. His daughter, Jody, is our wonderful granddaughter and the proud mother of our awesome great grandson, Landon!
