Wendy Lord was ALWAYS available for home tours. Her responsiveness was incredible. If she didn’t pick up, she always call back not to long after. Me and my husband purchased a short sale home, so it wasn’t a straightforward deal. She addressed all our concerns and enquiries in a very professional manner. She was always on our side. She made us feel conferrtabl enough to trust the process. We really love working with Wendy.

I came here prepared to write a good review for Wendy who recently helped me to buy a Condo in Germantown, Maryland. But I found this page is already filled with praises from Wendy’s clients, and they spoke exactly what I wanted to say about her: personable, professional, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, attentive, responsive, persistent, pragmatic, respectful… For me, besides all that Wendy is magical. I know she sells and buys big homes in the DMV area. But she put the same amount of energy and attention helping me to buy a 2-bedroom Condo. She would respond to my text messages within minutes or even seconds, telling me hang tight while she goes around resolving the issues. She patiently explained to me her strategies and plans, and executed with persistence and professionalism. As a result, our offer was accepted by the seller on the first day the property came to the market. We went through some ups and downs before the contract was signed, with Wendy helping to resolve all the issues in a timely manner. She also recommended a lender whose team helped me to lock a rate just in time to avoid another rise in the mortgage interest rate. The emotions associated with buying and selling a home can be like a roller coaster ride, scary yet exciting. With a realtor like Wendy the experience can be memorable. I gave Wendy the highest rating and will highly recommend her as a real estate agent!

If you are in need of a realtor, I highly recommend Wendy Lord. She is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate market throughout the Washington, DC metro area and also about current interest rates. She even got some comparative interest rate information for us. She responded very quickly to all our questions and requests and was happy to take us back to the house we were buying whenever needed. She worked very well with the seller's agent and seems to know so much about everything related to purchasing a home. Working with Wendy was as smooth as butter. I'm a first-time home buyer and was nervous about the entire home buying process. I couldn't have been more impressed with the way Wendy was able to walk me through the process, and miraculously reduce the stress of buying. I've been talking to her on and off over the last year, but never felt as though she was pressuring me. When I finally found the one property that I HAD to have, Wendy went to work strategizing different ways to beat out the competition. Not only did she have a plan in mind, but she also executed with such accuracy and purpose. As predicted, the house had multiple offers, but our offer beat out the rest -- all thanks to Wendy.

One of the key things that gave us the edge was Wendy's amazing lender. Between Wendy and the lender, they were able to put together a strong financial package to strengthen the offer. Not only was the lender able to close on the property in less than 4 weeks but was also able to get us an interest rate that was almost an entire 1% under the going rate for other lenders for the same loan amount.

Wendy's background in the real estate business really propels her to the top when it comes to expertise. She was recommended to me, and I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy in the DMV area. I am now writing this from the beautiful living room of my new house, all thanks to Wendy.

Wendy is fabulous! Now that we've finished our home-buying process and had time to reflect, I can honestly say she's the best realtor we've ever worked with. There are many challenges in buying a home in the current market, but Wendy made the process so smooth. She has extensive knowledge of the area and had great tips on how to be competitive in this market without overpaying for a house. Wendy was always responsive to our many (sometimes anxiety-filled) questions, had great recommendations for home inspectors and lenders, and generally walked us through every step of the process. This was truly my least-stressful home buying experience, and I think a lot of that had to do with Wendy--it meant a lot knowing we had an agent we could trust to represent us because it always felt like she had our best interests at heart. It was by shear luck that I had the good fortune in coming by Wendy Lord's name regarding the possible sale of our home on Lamp Post Lane in Fox Hills West, Potomac. My neighbor mentioned her name when I told him that my wife and I were ready to make a move to a new townhouse.

I called Wendy that very day, which became one of the best decisions we made...
After meeting with her and listening to her insights on how to maximize the worth of our home, and to sell it quickly at a strong price we knew she was the right person to have on our side..

That was easy! Before we ever put our house on the market Wendy came by and made suggestions on things to do. She explained the entire process and everything went just as she said. The house went on the market on a Thursday and she presented the offers the following Tuesday evening. Wendy went through the offers one at a time and explained the benefits and drawbacks of each. She made recommendations but was very clear that the final decision was ours to make. She handled everything and kept us in the loop all along the way. If we had another house to sell we would definitely call her again.

I cannot put into words how thankful I am to have worked with Wendy on helping me purchase my very 1st home.

From the very beginning, she was on top of everything. We had a quick chat about neighborhoods, budget, etc. and she put together personalized searches that fit my criteria. Wendy helped my husband and me purchase our dream home (July 2017) and sell our current home (November 2017). She is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. She really takes the time to listen to her clients. Having worked with another agent several years ago, I can say that Wendy worked harder than anyone else I know - she has this ability to make you think that you are her only clients. She was not only incredibly responsive to our questions/concerns but she was also equally responsive to other agents who had questions or wanted a showing. Wendy was also able to make some tough yet reasonable suggestion/recommendations throughout the purchasing and selling process - which we appreciated. She kept our spirits up and celebrated our victories! At our closing in November the other agent actually commented that this was the most pleasant experience he has ever had - this was do in large part to Wendy's professional and reasonable and just plain kind nature. And most importantly she is quite humble and does not take herself too seriously - qualities that we actively seek out when doing business. While we do not plan to buy or sell a property anytime soon, if we do, Wendy will be the first person we call. I have recommended her to several other friends and will continue to recommend her in the future.
