Whit Wall began his real estate career in 1975 with his father’s real estate firm, Gresham Wall Realty, and eventually branched out to Wall & King Real Estate Services and Construction. As president and co-owner of Wall & King real estate firm, he provided full service real estate sales & brokerage as well as contract design and development while building homes and developing properties throughout the Richmond metro area. His years of experience in all aspects of real estate including sales, relocation, and construction (Class “A” contractor) offer a broad platform of expertise to the benefit of his clients today. Now with The Steele Group Sotheby’s International Realty, Whit focuses his business on sales of residential homes, estates, waterfront, farms, and land throughout Virginia. Results oriented with courteous, professional service and client commitment have proven to be the key to his success for over four decades. He holds the professional designations of CRS: Certified Residential Specialists, ABR: Accredited Buyers Representative from the Realtors National Marketing Institute, SRES: Seniors Real Estate Specialists, GRI: Graduate Realtors Institute of University of Virginia and has been recognized for several decades as a Distinguished Achiever by the Richmond Association of Realtors. A Richmond native, Whit spent his earliest years on the family farm, 'Olive Hill,' on the Appomattox River with their horses, gardens (and favorite goat) where he developed his love of history, nature, wildlife, and fishing along the four rivers and the Chesapeake Bay. He graduated from Randolph Macon Military Academy in Front Royal, VA and studied at the Goethe Language and Cultural Institute in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. He then graduated from Dartmouth College with an AB in American History. Married over 46 years to his wife Pat, they have 2 children, both who are married, Whitfield & Kate and Claire & Landon as well as 6 grandchildren, all of whom fortunately live here in Richmond. And last but not least his faithful companion, yellow lab, Pete. Whit treats his clients as family, with patience and commitment in achieving consistent, positive results.
