William Ibarra is Broker/Owner of W Realty Services, LLC, located in North Laurel, Maryland. Mr. Ibarra started his career in real estate with RE/MAX PROS of Montgomery County, mainly concentrating on the sale of residential properties in areas of Maryland, Washington, DC & Northern Virginia. He attributes his real estate success to his educational background as a former high school teacher at Maryland Public Schools. The countless hours of lesson & behavioral planning, along with parent teacher conferences, & managing over 180 students on a yearly basis, Mr. Ibarra believes his educational profession was an essential prerequisite for launching a new career in real estate.
Once he earned his Maryland Real Estate license in 2005, he closed (3) three real estate transactions in first month of business but Mr. Ibarra credits the RE/MAX training and development he received from his previous broker/mentor Mr. Carl Stein. In the early years, Mr. Stein would train his sales team the fundamentals of real estate but most importantly, he would challenge his realtors to work harder than all others in the area.
The weekly training & constant guidance from his broker were the key to Ibarra’s growth & success in the real estate business. By 2007 and because he had tremendous success in the real estate industry, Mr. Ibarra decided to study for his Brokers Exam for all three jurisdictions to include Maryland, Washington, DC & Virginia, of which he passed all the required exams. This later led him to become an independent broker, later opening his own real estate brokerage, with the ultimate objective of managing a dynamic sales team for the DMV.
Mr. Ibarra has represented hundreds of buyers and closed throughout the DMV. He would bring his buyers up to date with the current real estate trends & guide his clients from the initial pre-qualification process, the appraisal and home inspections, to the final walk thru inspection and of course, to the day of settlement, of which he invites most of his clients to dinner to celebrate the achievement of their real estate goals. Ninety five percent of his real estate business come from referrals, which shows the strong effectiveness & dedication that Mr. Ibarra provides to his clients.
It is the same discipline & commitment with working with his Sellers. The initial steps of working with his Sellers is to develop an Estimated Net Profit Sheet & later developing a Competitive Market Analysis (CMA), an evaluation report to discuss the advantages & disadvantages of listing their home in the general market. Mr. Ibarra’s goal is to always maximize his client’s net profit as best possible.
On personal level, Ibarra has (3) three wonderful children, a male Shih tzu named Prince, enjoy traveling to Europe and Latin America for summer & holiday seasons, enjoys reading and writing and greatly appreciates an insightful conversation about business, politics & sports.
