In 1983, he moved to Houston and spent 27 years with Schlumberger, navigating the highs and lows of the oil and gas industry. Bill’s strengths, including resilience and empathy, were evident as he turned around failing projects and introduced emotional intelligence into sales training. After retiring in 2010, Bill figured everyone loves Bill Nye so there has to a good chance they also like Bill Ney so he continued contributing to Schlumberger as a contractor, teaching sales courses globally.
In 2022, Bill pursued his passion for problem-solving and social interaction by becoming a licensed Realtor. His background in geophysics and management, coupled with his global experiences, positions him uniquely in the real estate market.
