My various real estate interests started as a curious young boy that was constantly doing crafts & building things. When I was 12, I was using power tools & building shelving units. By my late teens I was doing mechanical work on cars. Within 3 years after college, I bought my 1st property. A classic 2-flat, handyman's special. I had read a book on creating wealth through sweat equity & I was off to the races.

Over the ensuing years I rebuilt the 2-flat from foundation repairs up to a new roof & everything inside. I hired tradesmen & worked alongside them so I could learn how to do everything myself. Eventually, I sold the 2-flat & rolled my equity into a 6-unit building. By then, I had decent knowledge of investment properties & ROI calculations. I was shocked at how little my agent knew about these things & even more shocked when I saw how much the REALTOR commission was.

I acquired my real estate license shortly after that primarily to get the commissions on my own deals. By then I was totally sold on the real estate business & figured a person with my knowledge & skill set could be very beneficial to others looking to buy or sell homes.

So here I am today. A REALTOR with extensive experience earned over many years in both good & bad market conditions. My construction experience enables me to "see" things in a property most other REALTOR'S will miss. Lately, I have seen way too many HGTV inspired home updates with very questionable workmanship. I will point out the problems I see, you have my word on that.
