We agreed that it was best to move fast with the listing, and Xander set an ambitious schedule that we accomplished without it feeling frantic. Even before I became actively interested in purchasing a property in Eugene, a relative recommended I get in touch with Xander Taylor just to get a feel for the city. They had been very pleased with Xander’s help in finding a property for their son. I’ve been grateful ever since for that excellent recommendation.

Not only did Xander spend hours showing my wife and I around town, explaining the plusses and minuses of the various areas, but he kept in touch after we left. I discovered he had developed a very accurate feel for the attributes of my ideal house and had incorporated this ideal into his scan. I always had the feeling he was looking out for my interests.

It was through Xander’s intuition that we discovered our future home. He knew the property, he knew the neighborhood, he knew us, and he recognized the fit. Once we made the decision to bid on the property, he deftly guided us through the process, skillfully suggesting minor tweaks to our bid which proved to be the winning touch.

Xander is incredible. We were moving at the height of the housing market, with a low budget, working with a bank using a first-time homeowner program, from OUT OF STATE without having lived in Oregon or being familiar with the area at all, and under a time crunch of when we needed to get an offer accepted by based on when my program was starting. He made it work and handled everything for us, including running by properties and taking videos since we could not be there in-person. We bought a perfect first-home within our budget and using the program, all thanks to Xander! We figured out a way to get our offer to the top of the list (lease-back) which worked best for us and the sellers, and is something I had no idea you could even do. We couldn't be more grateful to Xander. Our home checks every box we had. He got an inspector out immediately and got us in contact with a great contractor (Foshay Contracting) who was able to walk us through the issues and get us quotes for repair all during the inspection-period. We needed a little more time to make our decision based on what was found, and he was able to get our inspection period extended because of this. He additionally takes the time to genuinely get to know you, your wants, needs, etc. and makes sure the process is as smooth as can be, and that you are truly knowledgeable about the decisions you are making. He empowers, trusts, and delivers. When we inevitably move, Xander will be the one I call to get our place on the market again, without question. Thank you, Xander!!

Xander could not have been more proactive getting me through the stressful house buying process. He had an inspector there the day after our offer was accepted. He found a CPA who solved all our problems in sticky tax complications just before closing. He has given me excellent referrals to workers who will service my new home. We purchased a house from out of state and Xander could not have been a better partner in the process. First, he was chosen from a pool of realtors in the area by a personal friend in our state (our trusted realtor) whom we ask to vet local options. An approval from our friend says a lot about Xander and his integrity. I followed up with an interview and was impressed with his background, listening skills and overall demeanor. That background was really important - especially later in the process after our offer was accepted.

While we were house hunting, Xander provided insight and guidance that filled some pretty important gaps in our knowledge about the local housing market. He was kind and each time we found a place to look at, he quickly provided us with footage and commentary that was most importantly accurate and unbiased. He has a great sense of humor too! On one property, my daughter was able to join for a walk through. When she was done, Xander was kind enough to give her a ride home and keep her out of the rain.

When we got to the offer stage, Xander was an excellent partner, providing savvy advice which I am convinced helped us win in a competitive bidding situation.

Of course, winning a bid is only part of purchasing a house, and doing so from across the country complicated this immensely. That is where Xander's background truly shone through. We had to immediately find contractors, services and inspectors to get to close, and then prepare the property for occupancy post-purchase. Xander was there for us with recommendations, and options that not only were reliable, but in a manner that we felt we had a choice of vetted service providers - not just a bunch of business referrals. That was the icing on the cake.

In summary, we are thrilled with the house we bought and have only good things to say about working with Xander. He has earned our confidence and we'd offer him up as a referral to any of our friends looking in the area.

We became aware of several issues when we put my mom's house on the market, such as needing a new roof. Xander immediately knew the best company to call, who then were able to put on a roof in record time! He did a great job of listening and making me feel confident about my decisions so, when I found the right house, I felt ready to commit. There were a couple things that I appreciated during our experience of listing and selling with you. The first is we really appreciate your willingness to mentor my friend and old co-worker Jacob. It shows a lot of integrity that you took time out of your life and job to help him. As for the buying and selling process, we liked how easy you were to talk to. Especially how you laid out all of the possible scenarios as what would happen if we were to accept specific offers. For the listing process we felt like you did a great job coming up with comps that made us feel like we were asking a fair and accurate price for our house. We also appreciated how when the first buyer fell through you had a quick and comparable back up offer quickly after it fell through.

Xander was an absolute delight and a breath of fresh air. I have had difficulties with Realtors in the past signing me up and then doing nothing. Xander told me "That won't happen with me," and he was absolutely true to his word. He was always on time for appointments and great about returning calls and emails. We were looking for a fairly low-priced home and he did not try to get us to pay more than we wanted to. He was also very helpful in arranging financing so that we could get the home we wanted. Without Xander's help, we could not have gotten the home we wanted at the price we could afford.

I would not hesitate to recommend Xander Taylor to friends and family who need the services of a true real estate professional. If I need a Realtor again--and I probably will someday--I will definitely call on Xander Taylor.

Xander Taylor is as thorough and meticulous as he is personable. He has a substantial working knowledge of construction, marketing, and real estate laws/contract requirements. Perhaps one of the most significant ideas he created for our “incomparable property,” was figuring-out the size of our one acre lot PLUS factoring in the square footage of the home, to justify the selling price. It worked!

Xander is an excellent communicator; always responsive and does so in a timely manner. He also introduced us to apps which, on a daily basis, indicated activities and progress toward our property sale. He and Ruby Brockett held numerous Open House events with pre-qualified buyers; he became intimately knowledgeable about our home’s details in all areas, so as to put potential buyers at ease with the property. He’s very well connected and respected in the business, construction and real estate communities. He valued our confidentialities and supported our desire to be transparent in all disclosures to buyers.

In negotiations, he ferrets out what’s significant and what isn’t. He’s intelligent, and skilled in considering both the seller’s and buyer’s rights/needs. He’s ethical; very trustworthy.

All in all, we highly recommend Xander Taylor…….Oh, and he has an adorable cute puppy!

Xander Taylor not only found me a buyer for my spec house on Monroe but also found two more clients for new builds on the next two lots. He was able to negotiate a selling price that set the benchmark for the area, and in the middle of winter. Not the greatest time to try to sell a high end spec house. Xander took care of the marketing, open houses, made a drone video, handled client communications and all the documentation through closing. He also listed and sold the clients prior house in three days making it possible for them to sell their old house and move in to the new one on time for closing and with one move.

Xander truly wants to help people find and execute the real estate deal that is right for them. When we decided to sell our house on our own, without a listing agent, Xander was incredibly helpful. He answered questions, ran reports for us, and offered encouragement just when we needed it. When the going got tough (and it got really tough!) Xander commiserated with us, and encouraged us to keep at it. Xander understood that we wanted sell our own home, but was there if we needed to hire someone to help with paper work or anything else. Other agents, with whom we had no relationship, were aggressive and even condescending as they tried to get us to hire them. Xander understood that we just needed a little help. Not everyone has the time, energy and patience to sell a home on their own (I'll never do it again!)
