York Taenzer

York is a realtor in Des Moines has lived there over 30 years. He is very active in the community. His neighborhood is the historic district of Sherman Hill. He loves historic architecture, the neighborhood, the people, and the proximity to downtown. One of York’s passions is saving and restoring historic homes. Over the years, he has bought and sold multiple homes and gained real estate experience in that process. He volunteers on Des Moines' Historic Preservation Commission and with Capital City Pride (capitalcitypride.org), help homeless and refugee families through the Homeless Assistance Team, volunteer to support my Sherman Hill neighborhood, am a member of Plymouth Church, and sing in Des Moines Gay Men's Chorus (DMGMC.org). He is connected in many ways to people and organizations in the community. He knows what's going on in the city.
