Yusimay tiene una licenciatura en administración de empresas en finanzas y una maestría en administración de negocios internacionales de la Universidad Internacional de la Florida(FIU). Comenzó su carrera profesional en el año 2015 y ha ocupado varios cargos administrativos en Servicios Comerciales y La Escuela de Música de FIU.
