Since 5 is the highest allowable number of stars that is what I have given but I would have gone even beyond and higher if I were allowed because that is exactly what Yvonne did for us. Moving from Los Angeles to Oregon and not knowing anything about anything was daunting for sure but Yvonne made it super easy. Her knowledge and responsiveness are off the charts. Yvonne had helped us when we bought the condo which we just sold. Both times she was very professional, very knowledgeable about the condo development, and familiar with the HOA and management company. She worked quite rapidly to get sometimes difficult documentation from the HOA. We would recommend her to anyone buying or selling a Portland waterfront area condo. Unlikely to find anyone more skilled and knowledgeable.

Not long after I retired, my wife and I made the big decision to “scale down” to a condo. The “lock and leave lifestyle” appealed to both of us, as did the prospect of less daily maintenance. We scoured the entire city and went to open houses for a year, trying to pin down exactly what we wanted. One day we wandered into a unit listed by Yvonne. She was there herself to greet us. Not only did she show us through the unit, but she spent quality time getting to know both of us and understanding precisely what we were looking for. Within days she called us, informing us that she could get us access into a unit that was not yet listed. She felt it was what we were looking for. Well….the minute we walked in, we knew this was it! Given that the unit was not yet on the market, it required some delicate negotiations. Yvonne led us through the entire process, and we are now in love with our new home!

Communication and availability are crucial to my wife and me. Yvonne always availed herself and seemed to anticipate every question we would have, which were many. Her understanding of the condo market, both from a pricing perspective and with respect to the general vibe, quality of each building and HOA, is truly amazing. She is energized, professional, and on top of the details, which we truly appreciated. We highly recommend her without reservation.

This year we hired Yvonne for the second time. She helped us purchase our first home in 2016, and this year we decided to sell that home and buy our second one. We didn’t hesitate to work with Yvonne again to be both our selling agent for our first home, and our buying agent for our second home.

Our experience with her this time around proved to be just as positive as it was the first time. Yvonne is incredibly knowledgable, tenacious and passionate about her work. She takes so much pride in her listings and has a fierce protectiveness in her clients, and those qualities showed through in every interaction we had with her. She was able to get us an incredible offer (way above asking) for the home we sold, and made sure we were the offer to beat out 6+ others on the dream home we just purchased. The transactions for buying or selling a house are a lot to manage, especially in these times, when everything is done virtually. . . electronically transmitted, processed, and signed.
I recently purchased a new home. The sale could have been a disaster except that I had a world-class realtor.

Yvonne Blewett, of Sotheby’s International Realty, managed to make this sale happen and the experience was stellar. She asked the right questions, understood what I wanted in a home, and did not run me ragged looking at houses that would not suit my needs.

Yvonne sorted through many houses and sent me only the links that she knew I would be interested in. She found the one I bought, that had been on the market for only a few days. It was the first house I actually saw with her and it was perfect. She managed to find the house that fit all of my criteria.

I am not a neophyte to real estate transactions - during the past five decades, I have bought and sold over a dozen homes. Never has a sale been so smooth and stress-free.

There were a LOT of issues with the seller - from not disclosing broken appliances, to some tough price negotiations. Yvonne managed it all as my fiduciary representative - and pulled it off perfectly.

I was out-of-state at the time and had a very close schedule between the sale of my house and when I needed to move into my new home. Yvonne did everything necessary to protect my best interests and to ensure that this sale would close on time.

I knew I could count on her and I was confident that she had my back every step of the way.

Yvonne followed up on every detail - when she said she would do something or contact someone - it was done and on time. She went above and beyond normal realtor duties.

Being a Director of a Condo Association for 13 years had shown me the value a well-run, efficiently financed, and appropriately "Reserved" Association contributes to the overall value of a Condominium unit. A good Realtor sells your unit, a "great" Realtor communicates the value of both the unit AND the Association to prospective Buyers.

We chose to work with Yvonne to list our unit as she is able to not only communicate the value of the Unit but also the value of the Association! Her significant experience with Condominiums in the Portland area, coupled with her ability to communicate the value of the "Association" to prospective Buyers, is a definite advantage to anyone selling a Condominium unit.

As our goal was to get our Unit sold versus being on the market for a long period of time waiting for the right unicorn to make us an offer, we appreciated her frankness on what our Unit was realistically worth and what was needed to get our unit “market ready”.
