In River’s Edge, modern homes stand on the cusp of a couple of New Mexico’s natural wonders. Located beside the Rio Grande River and in sight of the Sandia Mountains, this Rio Rancho neighborhood combines access to outdoor attractions with commercial convenience. Residents are minutes from trails, water access, restaurants and shopping. “Probably one of the biggest draws is the views of the mountains from some of the homes,” says Audra Dodson, a local Realtor with Kellogg Agency Sales, who has eight years of industry experience. “Some of the homes back up to the [Rio Rancho Bosque Preserve], which has a walking trail that abuts the Rio Grande River." The neighborhood also has easy highway access, which Dodson says is a plus for anyone wanting to live in Rio Rancho but who works in Santa Fe. The River’s Edge area includes multiple subdivisions. The namesake River’s Edge I, River’s Edge II and River’s Edge III developments feature home styles varying form Mediterranean to Southwest, built in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
