While local parks and the hospital are the main draws, Northside-Hester Park is also just north of downtown, offering easy access to shopping, dining and other regional employers. Bungalows and Craftsman houses are among the most common, but there are also plenty of cottages and ranch-style homes along the tree-lined streets.
