Despite its name, San Jacinto's River neighborhood has no reservoirs; instead, it's mostly desert and farmland, backdropped by mountain views. Mt. Residents enjoy entertainment at Soboba and a diverse landscape for outdoor recreation, all at a relatively low price point for Riverside County. Though most of the neighborhood comprises open fields, desert terrain and a large dairy farm, River has a cluster of homes south of Blodgett Street. Single-family Spanish Revivals feature well-kept lawns fronted by paved sidewalks. Prices for these properties often fall between $450,000 and $550,000.
