The teachers at this school are very student oriented and care about each individual student. Being a small school, everybody knows everybody which could be a positive or negative. However, as an overall school, the teachers are some of the best.

The best part about my school is it is very supportive and many people are there for you when needed. We have good facilities and everyone is involved with everything and its a small school. What I would like to see change is some teachers to be professional and not always worry about the gossip going around.

I have loved my experience at Abernathy High School. The academics is outstanding; the teachers really do care about you as an individual and teach you to work hard and be well rounded. Everyone is extremely involved in athletics, UIL, Band, and other extracurricular. Also the community of Abernathy revolves around the school so everyone supports you and wants to help and push you to succeed.

This is a fantastic small school in a very welcoming community. Good balance between athletics arts and academics. I will never move my children to another school.

A caring community supports this school. Opportunities abound in all areas of academics, music, and sports. The high school has been newly renovated and a new gym, sports facility and ag building have been added. A great place to send your high schoolers
