My time at ATEMS was one of my most enjoyable years of K-12 education. The teachers were focused on bringing out the best in their students, gearing us up for college and arming us with the skills to survive academically once we graduated. We moved campuses in the interim between my sophomore and junior years, and the staff helped everyone adjust to the change, but that didn't make any difference to how we learned. I don't think I would change a single thing about my experience.

The courses, while hard, can be manageable as long as you're willing to ask the teachers and others for help. The numerous after school groups such as the robotics team and D&D club are full of good people and are generally very pleasant.

I like that it's small how it's centered toward sciences, how you can tell the teachers enjoy their job. ATEMS definitely prepares you for college and I've heard nothing but great things from graduated students, about how easy college seems to them compared to their peers.

Great small school! Everything is integrated to work on computers. Most all homework is done on computer and due at midnight the day it's due. This gives more flexibility in getting work turned in. My son forgets to turn things in, so we can check online and see that he's turned in his work.
