Wylie High School was a really good place to grow. I began to be able to take steps into exploring what career I would possibly want to go into because o all the different classes offered. I think that overall making true and lasting friendships with others was difficult but helped me know what type of people I want to associate with. I also think that the teachers worked very hard to have a personal relationship with you which I still see many if them as mentors and still keep in touch with them. I think that Wylie High School is a great place to grow and prepares you well for the future whether that be continuing education in college or heading into the work force.

Overall I had a great experience with this high school. For the most part teachers were very accepting and willing to help in as many ways as possible. Many of the teachers still comment on my posts and if I see them around they always love to catch up. I found that Wylie offered many different classes to help prepare you for the future. I took Dual credit classes my junior and senior year and I felt they prepared me for what college was like and I learned a ton of stuff in those classes.

Wylie High School provides a spectacular education and the teachers actually care about your education and the path you plan to take in life. The workload can sometimes be a lot and stressful, but it benefits you in the long run. I would, however, like to see more elective options.

My largest issue is that it's kinda small and I cannot find others with same interests and barely anyone with the same ethnicity, yeah it may sound like a politically biased "issue" but really what I'm trying to say is that I can't really fit my personal puzzle into groups (since it's niche) because...

Wylie is a great school, it is very friendly and has a welcoming community. Good athletics programs, with friendly and helpful teachers.

We moved to Abilene last school year and purposely bought a home in the Wylie school district so our son could go to high school there. He was going to be a freshman, and anyone's first year of high school can be difficult. Wylie High School made it even worse. The students were not welcoming at all...
