GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Cook High School is a very good school but there is no emphasis on the education and secondary education. We are conditioned to think that is is all about the sports program and when the season is over there is no one to help us get academic or athletic scholarships.

Every year it has been great for me! I would like for them to have more sports. The worst part is walking from long ways to classes.

I think that some of the teachers here do a really good job at what they do and that there are a decent amount of teachers that actually care about their students, which I like.

The teachers are very caring at Cook High. They treat the kids as individuals and give them opportunities to be creative with their work. The theater program at Cook is excellent. Our kids loved it.
