I loved going to school here! Blackhawk pride was instilled in all of us at a young age. It was very important in the way we grew up. The whole community felt like family and made my experience in the small town and school that much better.

I had a great experience here. The IB Program in particular was very helpful in preparing me for college. It was nice to go to a school with challenging classes.

If you want to get everything out of AHS take IB classes, mostly Chemistry and Math. I also recommend IB History and IB English. Marching band was cool too until Mr. Mykeloff.

I am very disappointed with this school. The virtual option was a disaster. My child is currently over a year behind because of this and the fact that no one would help. In an environment where "schools of choice" reigns supreme, Adrian Public Schools has the most to offer all Lenawee Co. residents. The school is run very poorly and has no attendence policy; I personally know a student who has not attended a full day of class this trimester and has recieved all A's and a B. The ex-principal was asked to resign pending a police investigation due to allegations of alleged unprofessional behavior...
