GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Honestly it is pretty good, but I've had a few issues with it, too many delinquents and a few run ins with discrimination. Not much else that needs to be changed. Although this doesn't mean much I wish the food was better.

I loved high school. I felt like a very included individual, but that could also be my outgoing personality. i feel as all the teachers and staff have made a big change in my learning skill to have me become stronger in my learning and in my confidence. As a student with a learning disability, i feel they have made a big impact on my schooling. To be part of a classroom and learning normal maternal and not feel singled out or made feel "different" because i have a harder time understanding the materials in learning. I think that through my Agawam high school career i have made many memories with amazing friends. My lacrosse team is one of my biggest things i will take with me out of high school, i'm so happy and glad that i went to a high school where i gave me the experience to play the sport i love and to be apart of a team. So id say Agawam high school is a good environment and a good school to spend 4 years of learning.

Overall, I enjoyed attending Agawam High School. I feel like the guidance department and overall organization could use some work, but that also could be because I attended during COVID and a change in principals.

I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts and experiences regarding my time at Agawam High School. While I thoroughly enjoyed the teachers there, I have to say that my overall experience with the school was less than desirable. To start with, the atmosphere at Agawam High School was somewhat tox...

Needs funding for new equipment. Needs to be refurbished. Students and parents and faculty need to support the visual and performing arts. The school should use that photography lab to actually do photography and film media. The old recording studio should be remade into one. Most of the teachers ar...
