This school allowed me to get a jumpstart on my college career. I graduated high school with an associate's degree. The teachers were personable. I don't think I was prepared for a career, however, as I entered college with little to no idea of what I wanted to major in.

Overall, I enjoyed Akron Early College Highschool. It is not the average high school experience There are not any sports, or music classes available at the school. The teachers are very close to one another and there aren't many students so they are easy to get to know. The academics can be demanding and the college courses can be fun and interesting.

My experience at Akron Early College have been really good. If I could restart, I would still want to be at this school because it brings in so many opportunities that regular high schools don't get.

As an AECHS graduate, I feel that this school is the number one way to success. If you or someone you know is going into 9th grade , encourage them to apply here and try to get into this program. I have become so successful in my life just at age 19 that I would have never gotten these opportunities...
