I haven't taken any courses here because I have done all dual enrollment since moving to Akron, but the counselors have been incredibly nice and helpful.

Ellet High School is a good school to attend. The school district has started "academies" in each high school to prepare students for the real jobs waiting after graduation. They have switched to block style education for the 2019 /2020 school year and it is still in its adjustment period. As a senior I can take my pre-college courses, while gaining experience in AMT -Ellet's Animal Management Program. I am learning skills that will help me work my way through college.

My experience here was positive. I always felt that I had someone to go to whether it was a teacher or a counselor. I received all the help I needed in just about every aspect. A downside that I experienced was a few teachers that did not better my education. Overall most of my teachers were amazing and provided help as needed.

Proud graduate. Proud that I made it out relatively unscathed, not proud of the school. Students who know their future involves college are eligible to take college campuses at (choose Kent, not Akron) by junior year, possibly even earlier? That aspect of Akron Public schools is valuable.

Hello, I was a former student that moved from Ellet.I would not recommend this school. I was bullied and mentally hurt. The the teachers and staff did not help me with my grades except for one teacher.Mrs.Dingman. Thank you for all that you have done for me and cared when no one else did.

I feel this way because for the past week they have been giving me expired food. I am very angry. Some of the teachers here and rude and disrespectful. This is the worst school I've ever been to.
