Emmanuel Christian Academy, centrally located in the West Akron neighborhood, provides students in grades pre-K through eight with STEM-focused educational opportunities in an intimate private setting.
With just over 220 students, Emmanuel incorporates various methods of instruction including a robust creative and performing arts program, which offers choral music, dance, drama, mime and visual arts. As part of this dynamic program, Emmanuel provides the community with unique student-led performances, art shows and musical concerts throughout the year.
The school’s S.T.E.A.M Academy allows students to learn and explore using science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics as guides for inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking. As a result, students connect their learning with real-world applications preparing them for the world that awaits.
For those who prefer to hone in on their unique passions, the school’s entrepreneurship program, with its popular “Moguls in the Making” after-school club, offers students in-depth instruction on creating and operating their own businesses..
In addition to academics, Emmanuel's athletic department offers basketball, cheerleading, track and volleyball.
Emmanuel participates in the Ohio Educational Choice Scholarship Program, which offers opportunities for tuition waivers and assistance. Art club, Bible club and extended day options are also available.
