Feels very cozy and you can really feel like you're apart of the community here! Great teachers who make sure you're learning everything you need to know. The only thing wrong with the school that could use a bit of a fix is the scale as it is quite small.

Its not such a big school so you can get one on one time with your teachers if need be. I would like to see teachers stay there longer than just one year.

Wheeler County Elementary is an amazing place. The family like atmosphere is evident in each grade level. I am so blessed that my children have been able to attend a school where the teachers that touch their lives seem to care about them as much as I do. Thank you WCES for a great experience!

This is the only school I have ever known. I graduated in 1973 from WCHS. My dad who is dead now, went to Wheeler County High School. Me and my brother and three sisters went to school here. All four of our daughters graduated from here. As a matter of fact, when our baby daughter graduated last yea...

Great school with small population. Students are not just a number. Staff truly cares about students and their well being. They are adding new programs to meet the needs of the students such as soccer, wrestling, chorus, etc. A well kept secret!

My children attend here, and their teachers are absolutely the best! I can't imagine them going anywhere else. What a fabulous community...elementary all the way to high school.
