GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have lived in Pahranagat Valley for ten years. As a small school of less than a hundred students, everyone knows everyone, and everyone gets along. Everyone is kind, and I have never had an issue with bullying here. The teachers know you personally and that makes it very easy to have a good relationship with them as well as enjoy your classes. The administrators take any concerns very seriously and respond accordingly.

Overall my experience with high school has been good. The people are generally nice, and the teachers are usually very helpful and available. The course work, in my opinion is less than up to par. My older brother graduated from here close to the top of his class, and was not prepared for what college had to give him, so he has been helping me get ready for my transition. Our resource teacher is very good, and has helped in so many ways. Overall I love my school, but I am ready to move on to another challenge.
