I have enjoyed my 4 years. Transitioning from public school can be challenging for some, but I was able to adjust and get comfortable quickly.

I have been at deerfield since my freshman year and have really enjoyed it. The classes are interesting and challenging. The teachers are always willing to help when we need them, and it is noticeable how much they enjoy teaching.

I came here last year as a 6th grader for the first time. Coming from a public school to this place was nice and there was not that many kids. At first I was loving it, not to much homework, I was really popular, the teachers not being near as strict as public school. But then as time went on I started to realize how bad this school really is. The highschool football team record is like 2-12 so there is no school spirit. The kids are really all kinda mean and since there is not to many kids you cant escape it. There is no diversity. The education is terrible. I went from making all A's to C'c and B's. That's why I as a 7th grader don't like deerfiled.

I came here my sophomore year from a Macon area private school after my dad's job transferred him to the Albany area for a year. Honestly, I found the academics here to be a joke. I had to work extremely hard to maintain good grades in Macon, and barely cracked open a book and made all A's honor rol...

Academically, this school is probably the best in the area. However, I found it weak in one important aspect. According to its webpage, the school expects its students to maintain the school's commitment to "honor, respect, and civility," yet my experience was that these traits were not encouraged o...
