My overall experience with my high school has not been positive. The food is horrible, most of the time the bathrooms have someone smoking pot in them, and the students simply don't care anymore. The classes are not hard; the only way that you can fail is if you don't show up or don't pay attention. It is not a great place to be.

Albert Lea has been a great school district to attend for all of my years in school but it needs updating. The amount of unsupervised children in the hallways and bathrooms is out of control. There needs to be more punishment for the kids that are smoking in the bathroom or destroying the school grounds. The teacher staff here is truly one of the best but the children they have to deal with needs to be take care of. The custodians are doing a great job but maybe make the kids creating the mess he the ones to clean it up.

The teachers and staff here all try and make sure you are included and involved with all activities. A lot of the teachers like to have fun with their teaching and really make it a good experience learning.

This school was so bad; I had to transfer. When I went to my new school, I found out many parents think the same thing and open enrolled their kids, either right away or after having their kids go to ALHS. So two stars, bad, do not recommend. There are better schools nearby.
