Excellent school that meets the needs of special Ed, Gifted and regular Ed students. The population of gifted students to special Ed students is about the same with the final 1/3 being reg Ed. Dynamic staff.

I am a student at Jefferson Middle School and personally I have found that the environment has been quite difficult to thrive in. The teachers are overworked and commonly have too many students. Too much crime happening at this school. I had to pull my child out due to bullying and lack of care by the teachers at this school. Overall it didn't seem like a safe environment. This school used to be a semi-ok school but it has really gone downhill over the years and it just isn't the same.

JMS my review. the teachers seem overworked, overwhelmed, and disconnected. The students are out of control, bullies and bad behavior are everywhere. The social atmosphere is awful at this school.
