The best parts of Alexandria Senior High School (ASH) are definitely the college readiness and the school culture. The school has wonderful traditions and an encouraging environment. The worst parts are probably how overcrowded the school is, but that's just because ASH is the best option for Rapides Parish. I would like to see faster communication from the school.

I think the best part of my High School is the math and Science teachers. They are probably some of the best and even while preparing us for college they aren't putting us through certain things we don't understand without properly explaining like most teachers tend to.

ASH is a great school that give options of interests to all types of students. The teachers and staff are willing to help in any way possible. I am a cheerleader and get to the school spirit on and off the court/ field. The diversity of students have helped me understand different points of views and is teaching others how to respect one another. It's a great place to experience life as a teenager.

I would like to see the school improve on preparing the students for college. ASH can offer the student college prep courses or allow state-wide colleges to come in for "College Fair" to get the students expose to different colleges. Outside state colleges should also be notified of "College Fair"....
