I am a former student at Belle View, and I had my good and bad moments with certain teachers. But overall I had a pretty good exprince especially at the end of 6th grade. I will never undestand why this school continues to get such low scores, as they do not reflect what a good, sweet elementary school this is. Are son has been going to BV from Kindergarten and is now in the 4th grade. We have had nothing but great experiences here, the teachers are experienced and communicative. The most insidious force destroying public education in this country is the misuse of quantitative data-- and behind this misuse is over-reliance and over-application of test score data without regards to demographic and background information that can't be factored in. Belle View is a great example...
