Alton High School is a great school. From my own personal experiences the academics are great. So many different opportunities for students and so many different sport options as well. As for the safety side it is very safe now and has many safety protocols. It is a little strict though it is what the school needs.

I just moved there this year and it phase been supper welcoming and there are so many opportunities and things to do and get involved in.something I would change would probably be having a free period where you can hang out and study if needed so that it's not go go go all the time.

It's a good school when people aren't fighting. They are starting to make better changes for their students. The metal detectors make me mad because they always set my backpack off for no reason but they make the school more safe for students and teachers.
