This school is the exact definition of a public school. The kids- not great, the food- not great. This school has many problems but also has its benefits, the arts programs are very good (I'm in both chorus and the drama program) and there are a ton of clubs that are very exclusive.

I felt like I really excelled her my past four years. I had a lot of doors of opportunities opened for me in all aspects, academics, athletics, and in the fine arts department. I always felt supported by my teachers, and they always pushed me to reach my potential. I definitely feel ready to go off to college and am content with everything I learned during my time at Altoona High.

The academic opportunities and advancement placements are great for students. They offer a wide variety of classes and extra circulars. The teachers for the most part are very helpful and do their best to help students. Also, the after-school tutoring time was very helpful. However, the administration can tend to bury situations under the rug.

my student is an honor roll student great attendance ,, does not cause any problems. he made one mistake in the lunchroom sliding a fork across the table, which he wasnt the only one. his punishment is thrown out of school for 3 days and 2 days in school, and it has also affected seating in the lunc...

This school worships their football players (who aren't even that good?) great special education programs, but this school is way too concerned about appearances of their students and not about the kid themself
