I understand the importance of discipline, but bullying should never be tolerated. The way some teachers treat students and allow them to bully them is completely unacceptable. We feel privileged that they have been able to attend Bivins Elementary Schools and would not consider any other elementary school in the area for our family. My daughter had to be removed from this school due to bullying . I was forced to file a grievance after about 6 months of on going problems. Teachers and staff do not properly watch the kids, they allow hitting , cussing and bullying. The Principle acts as a friend to his staff instead of a boss and...

Could not have asked for a better elementary school for our children to attend. It is a true neighborhood school and the neighborhood is very involved. Consistent and caring staff that have always expected the best of their students and given their best for the students.
