It has a nice school set and most of the teachers are nice. As far as student body you have your good and your bad about it. The school isn't very diverse, many of the people in the community as a whole have attended the very high school their kids are now. If you are coming for sports though, basketball takes the lead as the football team isn't very good anymore. Academics are on an average scale in my opinion, not as many selections as other schools around would have.

Nice school, but academic programs could be stronger. I do feel I was prepared for college upon graduation.

At Ambridge Area High School we have some teachers that care very much about our grades and about our learning but then we have others that don't care at all and just seem to be there because they want a check. and it seems that the reason that they stay around is because they are close to the people that are higher up.

This school was terrible. it completely killed any love i had for learning. Most of the work is busywork, the administration doesn't listen to the needs of the general student body, most of the clubs are lackluster and low performing, the teachers play favorites and generally don't help with prepare...

Bad. My child has been doing worse and worse each year and it's just more and more homework. They go to school all day spend, 2-3hrs for sports and after school activities 3hrs on homework and completely exhausted. They is no time for them to be a kid and enjoy their friends. We need more teachers,...

The teachers are terrible! They act like teenagers themselves! They gossip about one another and they gossip about other students. If you don`t fit their ideal type of student you get treated terribly and there is no room for growth. The classes at this school are a complete joke. They don`t prepare...

I cannot say enough about the teachers, staff and administrators at AAHS. My child recently had a medical emergency during school hours. Her teacher, administrators and school nurse responded quickly and professionally. After the incident, great lengths were taken by many to ensure there was no brea...
