The school serves close to 750 students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Mattie Lou Maxwell Elementary is part of the Magnolia Elementary School District and maintains a student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 23-to-1. The school responds to the individual needs of students by offering daily interventions for those who are below grade level during and after school. The school places a strong emphasis on technology and, beyond its core academic programs, offers arts and music programs for students as well. The Anaheim Ducks have built a hockey rink at Maxwell Elementary, which is used for physical education in addition to tournaments. Mattie Lou Maxwell Elementary School also has a district-sponsored Dual Language Immersion Program and robust after school and summer learning programs.

Teachers in Mattie Lou Maxwell Elementary School are exceedingly unprofessional in almost everything including teaching. And very incognizant on both behaving the students and controlling them. I personally recommend not sending your children to that substandard school.
