Overall, AHS is a decent school. Anahuac is a small town, but has been growing a little over the past few years. Some of the teachers and classes are hit and miss - one year I have pretty decent teachers, then the next I don't feel like I learn enough. I have heard from students who have transferred from other schools nearby that Anahuac is better than their previous school.

Overall great environment with uplifting individuals however, I would like to see more support for cultures, and the diversity we hold.

For a small town school it's really good. They don't have a lot of money like the surrounding schools but for what they do have they compete well with richer schools. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else.

This school's band program is very enjoyable. There are a few problems though. There is no swim team even though there is a pool??? The food is not nutritous or delicious. This school is terrible. I have more than one child in this school and we have found that they are struggling greatly with the basics.
