I enjoy my school and my friends but the teachers do not know what they're doing. It's sad to say but they do not care about their work. Jobs maybe but not the work. I've heard many say the administration needs to change. With them I think it's just who knows who. There's a lot of bad stuff going on in high school with teachers and administrators. Wish they'd focus on the kids and teaching us.

I loved going to Andrews High School. They made sure we got to go to school this year and be safe. The staff and administration tried to make it as normal as possible. I graduated May 5th with 42 college hours that I ended up earning for free. I made Honorable Mention Academic All State and All State in Golf. Andrews ISD is awesome!

There's not a lot to tell about this small-town school. They are more focused on good grades rather than teaching students. You learn how to memorize your notes then forget everything because it isn't relevant in the lesson anymore. There are some teachers here that do try to teach more than just the curriculum, but they are bound to stay true to the curriculum.

I enjoyed this school from when I was a student here years ago and after moving back to Andrews a couple of years ago and raising my grandchild (whose friends are sweethearts whenever they visit our home.) During their visits, I heard the friends my grandchild has about the teachers who do not know...

I am totally surprised at some of these evaluations, but things do change over time. I taught at Andrews High 1968-1973 and Andrews was a very good school with very good teachers Our weak point was our principal, he liked to smoke with the those kids in the smoker alley. Our teaching staff was very...

Most of the teachers are wonderful, caring people who truly care and go out of their way for the students. They try hard to instill great values in their students regardless of their background, and are effective leaders. The level of preparation for college could be improved a bit.

At this school, it's hard to be different. Most people at this school are Caucasian, athletic, and Christian. Students of a different sexual orientation, other than heterosexual, have a hard time fitting in at this school.
