Teachers rely on online videos to teach rather than actually teaching. The goal of the school is not to teach students but rather prepare them to pass a test. Counselors force students into AP exams so they boost the schools exam scores rather than put students in classes that alone with what they what to do in life.

My best experiences with Wekiva high school is the people and teachers. I have been able to form so many bonds with incredible people that are now my friends and teachers as well. I love that I can talk to them, not just about education, but about my life and my future. However, I do not like the staff at my school. While the teachers handle all the work, administration sits outside while teachers run to stop the fights. That is the experience I don't like. The change I would like to see it's for administration to see through the students and not do anything while watching damage being done. I would like to see students get along better and not always resort to violence.

For the most part the school get really involved with social events, but unfortunately there were a few times the safety of the students was in fact tested.

here's my honest review: wekiva is an alright school with a lot of underlying issues- it is what you make of it. there is a noticeable disconnect when it comes to communication, but if you are an involved parent there shouldn't be any problems (just don't expect to get newsletters and emails from ad...

Teachers are so unprofessional, they cuss at the students and kick them out sometimes for no reason. They have to follow silly rules, the teachers in general are just so terrible. There are alot of fights and too many disrespectful students.
