I always felt very connected with apponequet as all of the staff created a close relationship with each student. It always felt like home and I looked forward to going everyday. The sports are lacking as they do not have a wrestling team or an updated sports field but other than that no complaints.

The school itself isn't the best building and there aren't many resources to teach student with and there are constant budget cuts.

I will start with what I would like to see change, which is facilities update. Building is outdated and needs some love and care to be given to it modernizing it to look like our competing local high schools. My best experience was definitely the great staff on site. The teachers care and get to know you as an individual. I would say it is the lack of diversity in the school, but this is not something the school has control of but rather the demographic around us as a community.

I am a graduate of Apponequet. My two older sisters are Apponequet graduates. Currently both of my children, who are at very different ends of the learning spectrum are both enrolled at Apponequet. As with any school, you get what you put in to it from the school. If your child is not interested in...

I have lived in Freetown for many years and have one graduate from Apponequet currently in college and a senior at the high school. Over the past year I have seen unfortunate budget cuts that resulted in eliminating classes such as woodwork and other staff. Despite this, we have a strong administrat...

We moved to this town in 98, I sent my first 2 children to this school but my last child did not want to go to this school and chose Old Colony. I have found that OC is a much better school, shows more interest in the students, has so much more to offer the students, and there are far less clicks. E...
